Tuesday night at about 9:40 p.m. officers went to the area of Hickman Ave. and Woodlawn Ave. for reports of several shots fired. When they got there, a 24-year-old man told them he was shot at but wasn't hit. Officers found several shell casings in the street. The suspects are described as two black males wearing dark clothing in a newer model, light colored, Nissan sedan. The second shots fired call came in early Wednesday at about 12:45 a.m. outside of an apartment complex in the 2600 block of Quail Drive. Officers found several shell casings there but didn't find anyone who was hurt or involved in the shots fired. Both incidents are active ongoing investigations.
