One hurt in Providence Road shooting

One man was hurt in a Saturday night shooting at a Columbia convenience store.

A man is recovering after being shot at a Columbia convenience store late Saturday night.

Police say a 33 year old man was shot at the Midwest Petroleum Convenience Store at 126 South Providence Road around 11 p.m. The wound was not life-threatening and police say the victim knows the suspect. Police did not release any suspect information.
