Tue, 09 Jul 2013 13:24:00 GMT — The Callaway County Sheriff's Department is looking for whoever is responsible for stealing what is described as a nuclear grade pipe. At about 7:45 a.m. Monday deputies responded to a report for stolen scrap metal at Martens Construction Company on Old Highway 40 in Kingdom City. Deputies said a large amount of steel pipe, described as â??nuclear gradeâ?? was stolen. The pipe is described as having 1 inch think walls and varies in diameter from 6â?? to 2â??. The pipe is in 8â?? or smaller lengths and may have spray paint on it and is extremely heavy. Anyone with information about the theft is urged to contact the Callaway County Sheriffâ??s Office at 573-642-7291 or Crime Stoppers.
