No new cases of Chronic Wasting Disease in MO deer

The Missouri Department of Conservation says they have not found any new cases Chronic Wasting Disease in Missouri deer.

The department tested 3,666 deer during and after the 2013 deer hunting season.

Ten confirmed cases of the disease were found in captive deer at a private hunting preserve in 2012 in a small area of northwest Macon County. The first case was spotted at a private hunting facility in Linn County.
