Wed, 06 Aug 2014 13:14:17 GMT — After a series of spotty rain chances, showers and thunderstorms should give Mid-Missouri a good soak for the second half of the work week. A stationary front may set off a few storms during the afternoon on Wednesday with a better chance coming Wednesday night. Low pressure will swing in from the west bringing showers and thunderstorms to the area, potentially lasting until Friday morning.Severe weather is not expected at this time, but some storms could produce hail and strong winds. Heavy downpours are also possible. Mid-Missouri could pick up between 1-2" of rain by Friday morning - helping to relieve drought conditions across the area.Follow the KRCG 13 StormVision Weather Team for the latest updates. www.connnectmidmissouri.com/weather
