More arrests made in major drug sting

      Distrubutors of a variety of drugs, including heoin, crack cocaine, and methamphetamine, were the targets of the busts.

      A second phase of a major drug sting netted 22 more arrests Wednesday on top of the 20 warrants served Tuesday by the MUSTANG Drug Task Force and several mid-Missouri law enforcement agencies.

      Most of the latests arrests were for suspects in Callaway County.

      A spokesman for the Missouri State Highway Patrol, one of the primary agencies involved in the busts, said the warrants are the result of over a year of investigation.

      The suspects in the operation were arrested for distribution of a variety of controlled drugs, including heroin, methamphetamine, crack cocaine, marijuana, and prescription pills.
