All lanes of Route 63 south of Vienna in Maries County are open to traffic after being closed due to flooding.
All lanes of Route 50 at Mt. Sterling in Gasconade County are now open to traffic, after being closed due to flooding.
There are currently about 30 numbered and lettered routes throughout the state which remain closed due to flooding. The remaining closed roads are located mainly in central and southern Missouri.
Drivers are encouraged to check MoDOT's Traveler Information Map, located at http://www.modot.org/ or call the department's toll free number at 1-888-ASK-MODOT, to get updated on road conditions.
Motorists should use extra caution in their travels during this time and never attempt to drive around roadway barriers or attempt to cross flooded roadways. MoDOT also recommends allowing extra travel time if detours are necessary.
