A Moberly man accused of posessing and manufacturing meth is behind bars.
Moberly authorities have charged Clifford Ball, 32, with possession and manufacturing meth and maintaining a public nuisance.
Police answered a call Thursday from a man who said he was threatened with a firearm at a home on Myra Street.
When officers showed up they found a meth lab as Ball tried to throw out one of the active ingredients.
Ball is also accused of breaking a window in the jail, apparently to escape.
He's locked up on a $15,000 bond.
