Moberly man accused of 14 counts related to child sex

A Moberly man stands accused of 14 charges relating to sexual misconduct with a child, acts that allegedly span roughly three years and date to when the victim was less than 14 years old.

According to Howard County Prosecutor Deborah Riekhof, the victim is a family member of the suspect, Randall Wayne Braden, 30, of Moberly.

On Friday, Braden was arrested in Moberly on a Howard County warrant on six counts of statutory rape, one count of statutory sodomy, one count of child neglect, two counts of endangering the welfare of a child, and four counts of sexual misconduct involving a child under the age of 15.

The incidents the charges refer to began in September, 2011, when the victim was under the age of 14, and continued until June 2014, at which time the victim was still a minor under the age of 17.
