Mon, 28 Apr 2014 20:27:27 GMT — The University of Missouri has found its next head basketball coach.Mizzou announced Monday that former Central Missouri head coach Kim Anderson will become the 18th men??s basketball coach in school history.Anderson was a former assistant under Norm Stewart, and spent 12 seasons in total at Central Missouri.He??ll be officially introduced at a news conference in the Great Room of the Reynolds Alumni Center at 10 a.m. on Tuesday morning. Fans and media are welcomed to attend."We are pleased and excited to have Kim Anderson leading our program," said athletic director Mike Alden. "He has demonstrated the ability to mentor young men on and off the court."Anderson leaves Central Missouri as the school??s all-time winningest coach."I??m honored and humbled to have the opportunity to return to Mizzou and lead a program that our family is so vested in," said Anderson.
