      Missouri teen hit and killed while lying in the road

      One teen was killed and another is in serious condition after they were lying in a roadway and hit by a truck.

      A Missouri teenager is dead and another is in serious condition after they were lying on a road and hit by a vehicle.

      According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 19-year-olds James Lawrence of New Florence and Nicholas Sachs of High Hill were lying down on Route B in Montgomery County around 3:00 a.m.

      19-year-old Dakota Skeens of Montgomery City was traveling east on Rt. B in a 2003 Chevrolet Silverado when he hit the two teens on the roadway.

      Lawrence was pronounced dead on the scene and Sachs was taken to University hospital in serious condition.
