One man died when the personal watercraft he was driving crashed into a walkway Saturday night.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 29-year-old Gene Grumbois from Kaiser Missouri was traveling downstream on the 4-mile-marker of Niangua River just before 10:00pm.
The 2010 Sea-doo he was driving hit a walkway connecting land and a dock.
Grumbois was thrown from the watercraft and later pronounced dead.
He was not wearing a life jacket.
