Authorities are looking for a 51-year-old man, who they presume drowned at the Lake of the Ozarks.
Mon, 17 Jun 2013 13:28:11 GMT — Update 6/17/13: The body of 51-year-old Joe Bartholomew was recovered Monday afternoon near the place he went missing, at the 13.5 mile marker of the Big Niangua arm at the Lake of the Ozarks. Authorities a re looking for a 51-year-old man, who they presume drowned at the Lake of the Ozarks. The Missouri State Highway Patrol said Joe Bartholomew of Camdenton was last seen fishing off a private dock at the 13.5 mile marker of the Big Niangua arm at the lake. The report was taken at about 11:30 a.m. Sunday. Rescuers canvased the area in and around the water with negative results. A report on the partol's website said they believe Bartholomew drowned but they are continuing to investigating and said dive operations will continue.
