      Missing 8-year-old Jefferson City girl found safe

      Jefferson City Police said the 8-year-old Eboni Kyashiah Coney-King is safe after police issued an endangered person advisory for her Thursday night.

      Early Friday morning, Jefferson City Police said the 8-year-old Eboni Kyashiah Coney-King is safe after police issued an endangered person advisory for her Thursday night.

      Police said Coney-King was found safe in the St. Louis area overnight.

      They said Eboni Kyashiah Coney-King was leaving West School on Dix Road Thursday afternoon. Her aunt, Na'Diya Marie Curtis, made contact with her and walked Eboni to a car. The school's surveillance video shows the girl began to struggle when she saw her mother, Britney Renee Coney, in the car.

      The girl is now in the custody of the St. Louis Police Department.
