Mid Missouri convenience store robbed at gunpoint

Update: April 6 at 3:35 p.m.: The Boone County Sheriff's Department said the second suspect in the armed robbery of a Fastlane on HH, north of Columbia on March 25.Authorities arrested Joey Russell Morris, 20, of Callaway County. The Sheriff's Department arrested Morris on suspicion of first-degree robbery and armed criminal action. Deputies said someone recognized Morris on the video released from the Wal-Mart on Conley Road where authorities believed the men purchased supplies prior to the armed robbery. Morris is housed at the Boone County Jail awaiting a bond hearing for the charges. Update: Thursday, March 31, at 10:25 p.m:
The Boone County Sheriff's Department have arrested one suspect in the armed robbery of a Fastlane on HH north of Columbia on March 25.Authorities arrested Tyson A. Bartlett, 25, on Thursday. He was taken into custody without incident on I-70 Drive Northwest without incident, according to the sheriff's department.Officers said someone recognized him from the photos shown on several media outlets, including KRCG, and gave authorities critical information aiding in Thursday's arrest.He is housed in the Boone County Jail awaiting bond to be set. Authorities expect to charge him with first-degree robbery and armed criminal action.A second suspect is still wanted by the Boone County Sheriff's Department. The investigation is continuing. The Boone County Sheriff's Department has released new security cam pictures of the suspects and their vehicle.
Update: Monday, March 28th at 10:00 a.m.: Boone County deputies are still searching for the two suspects who robbed a Fastlane at gunpoint Friday night. The store has released pictures from the surveillance video. Boone County Sheriff's Department urges those with information to call Crimestoppers at 875-TIPS.
Boone County deputies responded to a report of a robbery at the Fastlane 66 Convenience Store located at 7701 Roanoke Dr. in northern Boone County Friday night.
The call came in at about 10:16 p.m.
In a press release Boone County Corporal Chris Smith said when officers arrived they contacted the store clerks who said two male suspects entered the store, displayed handguns and demanded cash.
The suspects left the store on foot after taking an undisclosed amount of money.
The Boone County Sheriff's Department is asking for anyone that may have witnessed this incident or anyone that has any information to contact 875-TIPS.
