Meth lab busted in Phelps County

Phelps County law enforcement busted a fully operational meth lab while investigating a burglary.

Deputies were called to the 11000 block of Highway F for a reported burglary at the residence.

Information from the scene lead them to a home on West 3rd Street in Newburg. That is where they found Michael Henderson, James Inman, many of the stolen items and a working meth lab.

Deputies and Newburg police also found several items from other burglaries in the county.

Henderson was arrested for Burglary 1st degree, Burglary 2nd degree, Felony Stealing of a Firearm, and two counts of Stealing Property Valued at More Than $500.00, 1st Degree Drug Trafficking and Possession of a Controlled Substance. Bond for all the warrants totaled $130,000.00.

Inman was arrested for 1st Degree Burglary, Felony Stealing of a Firearm, and Felony Stealing of Property Valued at More Than $500.00. Bond was set at $15,000.00

Both were taken to the Phelps County jail.
