McDonalds murder victim is laid to rest

Funeral services were held Wednesday for the Jefferson City woman gunned down at McDonalds.

Her husband is charged with the crime.

Family and friends said goodbye to 44 year-old Pamela Kellner.

A visitation and service was held Tuesday night in Jefferson City.

Wednesday there was another service in her hometown of Houston.

One friend said Wednesday was an extremely emotional day for many.

"It was sad, very sad," Kellner's friend Donna Speckhals said. "She's up in heaven now with God. She can't be hurt anymore, she can't be hit anymore. She'll be loved up there and someday we'll see her again."

The shooting happened just after 8 Friday night at the McDonald's restaurant on Jefferson Street near Ellis Blvd.

Investigators said Pamela and her husband had recently separated and that he came to the restaurant to talk to her.

The two were sitting in a booth when those in the restaurant heard a gun shot.

Customers saw Pamela grab her chest and say: "call the cops, he shot me."

47-year-old Keith Kellner is charged with first degree murder and armed criminal action.

He is due in court Thursday.
