McCaskill says Democratic U.S. senator should resign over sexual misconduct allegations
JEFFERSON CITY —
One of Missouri's U.S. senators suggested the resignation of one of her colleagues Wednesday.
Sen. Claire McCaskill (D-Missouri) tweeted "Al Franken should resign."
One woman has accused Sen. Al Franken (D-Minnesota) of forcibly kissing her on a USO tour and took a sexually suggestive photo while she was sleeping; three other women allege Franken grabbed their buttocks while posing with them for photos during separate campaign events in 2007, 2008 and 2010.
McCaskill joined several female Democratic senators in calling for Franken's to resign amid sexual misconduct allegations, according to the Associated Press.
