A Maries County mother arrested for endangering the welfare of a child was charged Monday.
The Maries County prosecutor charged Annie Crull, 25, with two counts of endangering the welfare of a child in the first degree, which is a felony along with abuse or neglect of a child, which is also a felony.
The arrest came after a report of an injured infant led police to find drug paraphernalia in her home.
Members of the Belle Police Department and Maries County Sheriff's Office responded to the report at 204 Linn Street.
Officers found drug paraphernalia at the scene, and arrested the Belle woman.
Two children, one three months old and the other five years old, were taken into custody.
Authorities say she ingested methamphetamine and opiates to the point of impairment while the children were in her care.
