Three Moberly men were arrested for robbery and armed criminal action late Sunday night.
At about midnight Sunday, an 18-year-old man was walking in the area of Emerson and Myra. T
wo men drove by, got out of their car and then walked toward him, pointing a weapon and demanding money.
The one holding the weapon grabbed the man's money and told him to get on the ground.
While on the ground, a vehicle driving by saw the incident.
The robbers grabbed the teen's cell phone and left.
A witness told authorities they saw the suspects running and saw a vehicle parked on a side street with its parking lights on.
The witness took down the license number and contacted police.
Moberly police said the victim wasn't hurt during the incident and that the victim recognized one of the suspects.
The Randolph County Prosecutor filed charges against 18-year-old Jordon Deskin, 19-year-old Austin Crose and 20-year-old Joshua Butcher, all of Moberly, with accessory to robbery and armed criminal action.
Their bond was set at $100,000 each. The men were unable to post bond and were taken to the Randolph County Justice Center.
The investigation is on-going.
