      Man pleads guilty in deadly Jefferson City crash

      Dennis Leporin is expected to plead guilty Monday morning after a deadly crash in Jefferson City last year.

      A Columbia man pleaded guilty Monday to second degree murder and second degree assault.


      Dennis Leporin's sentencing is scheduled for August 13th.



      Original story- A Columbia man is expected to plead guilty Monday morning after a deadly crash in Jefferson City last year.


      Dennis Leporin was indicted for second degree murder, assault and DWI.


      Leporin was allegedly driving drunk when he hit a car on highway 54, killing the 19-year-old driver, Chelsea Fredrickson and seriously injuring her passenger.


      Leporin has at least two prior dwi convictions, according to court documents.


      A Cole County judge set Monday's appearance for the guilty plea hearing at 9 A.M.
