Man in custody after shooting near St. Robert

Charges are expected Wednesday against a man accused of shooting two acquaintences near St. Robert.

Felony charges are expected against a man arrested for shooting at two acquaintences Tuesday afternoon.

According to Pulaski County Sheriff Ronald Long, the man became enraged after being relieved of a position an a local social organization earlier in the day. Then, at about 3:00, in a subdivision just east of St. Robert, the suspect fired at two men, who did not sustain any injuries.

Several law enforcement officers from multiple jurisdictions were attending a meeting nearby and took the suspect into custody without incedent.

Charges are expected to be filed Wednesday, at which time authorities plan to release his name.
