Man found dead inside burned-out home identified
The victim of a house fire just east of Richland Monday night has been identified as 62-year-old Gary Hugh Wilson, according to Pulaski County Sheriff Jimmy Bench.
According to the Tri-County Fire Protection District, operators received a call at about 9:20 Monday night about a possible fire in the 19000 block of Rawlins Road. Firefighters from Tri-County, Crocker, Hazelgreen, Lebanon, and Waynesville responded. When they arrived, the house had already collapsed. Wilson was found dead inside. He was the only occupant of the home at the time, according to Bench.
It took firefighters about one hour to bring the blaze under control.
The State Fire Marshall's Office is continuing its investigation of the cause of the fire.
