Gasconade County man charged with raping toddler
GASCONADE COUNTY —
Prosecutors charged a mid-Missouri man with rape more than eight years after the crime reportedly happened.
According to court records, a Gasconade County deputy said the incidents happened between the years of 2006-2009, in a trailer at the 3500 block of Meyer Road near Owensville.
The deputy said he believed Justin Kahle, 36, had been molesting a 3-year-old girl for three years.
According to the court records, the girl told the deputy Kahle raped her, then sat her down at the table to eat breakfast and yelled at her to stop crying.
The child also said at one time her mom came into the room and caught Kahle touching himself in front of the child.
During an interview with detectives, Kahle reportedly admitted to some of the sexual acts.
The Gasconade County prosecutor charged Kahle with statutory rape and statutory sodomy.
Kahle was being held in the Crawford County Jail on a $100,000 bond.
