Man charged with hiding body

Jefferson City Police said they are following significant leads in the disappearance of Christopher Cray

A Jefferson City man is charged with tampering with physical evidence in the suspicious disappearance of Christopher Cray.

Cole County prosecutors charged Adam Moore-Duncan Tuesday morning.

According to court records on or about May 22, two days after Cray was last seen, Moore-Duncan hid a body.

The records said Moore-Duncan did so to â??obstruct the prosecution of another for the crime of murder.â??

Christopher Cray was last seen May 20.

Police believe

Christopher Cray

might have been in route to the Belle, Mo. area driving a white Ford Crown Victoria with several other people.

The car was found abandoned on May 26th in Jefferson City.

On Tuesday two cadaver dogs from Task Force One were in Jefferson City looking at possible crime scene locations in relation to Cray's disappearance.
