Two men are arrested after authorities busted a theft ring in Centralia.
On June 25, police say Adam Scott, 23, went into a home in the 300-block of South Collier Street in Centralia and stole a Sony Play Station 3, two wireless controllers and a video game.
Then on July 9, Scott admitted to stealing a compressor and other copper components from the air conditioner at the Centralia Fire Department at 208 Sneed Street West.
Scott told police he sold the parts at a salvage yard in Columbia for cash to support his drug habit. It would cost $2,380 to repair the air conditioner according to Robinson Heating & Air.
Just one week later, on July 16, Scott admitted to police he went into a shed in the 300-block of Singleton in Centralia and
stole a snow blower
After contacting his friend, Justin Holley, 24, the two pawned the snowblower in Columbia for $25.
Adam Scott was arrested for felony stealing, first-degree burglary, first-degree property damage, second-degree property damage, trespassing and stealing.
Scott's bond is set at $10,500.
Holley was arrested for receiving stolen property and probation violation with a bond of $4,500.
