Man arrested for selling prescription drugs to teens
Boone County Sheriff's deputies arrested 24-year-old Matthew Roberts Wednesday evening for distributing a controlled substance near a school.
Thu, 09 May 2013 13:48:05 GMT — An Ashland man was arrested Wednesday evening for distributing a controlled substance near a school.Boone County Sheriff's deputies arrested 24-year-old Matthew Roberts at about 7:45 p.m.An investigation by the sheriff??s department revealed the Roberts distributed Adderall, a Schedule II Controlled Substance, to a 13-year-old girl and a 17-year-old boy in the Ashland City Park, which is located less than two-thousand feet from Southern Boone Middle and High schools.Roberts is in custody at the Boone County Jail with a bond set at $100,000 for the narcotics charges. Roberts also had an outstanding warrant for his arrest for failure to appear on a speeding charge, with a bond of $150.
