Man arrested for meth near Centralia Head Start building

A Mexico, MO man was arrested in Centralia after selling meth to an undercover officer.

According to police, 34-year-old Wade Anthony Jackson sold an eighth of an ounce of meth for $300. He was arrested immediately after without incident.

He could be charged with felony distribution of a controlled substance and felony operating a motor vehicle without a valid license.

The bond for Jackson's drug charge has not yet been set. The license violation has a pre-set bond of $4,500.

Jackson remains in Boone County Jail.
