Man arrested for beating and choking woman

Connor was wanted for charges of first degree burglary, domestic assault and endangering the welfare of a child.
A Columbia man is behind bars after being accused of beating and choking a woman. Earlier in June, a woman told police that Zachary Connor had punched, kicked and choked her until she passed out. The incident took place with the woman's children all in the apartment. Around 4:50 p.m. Thursday afternoon, officers found Connor at 4802 Clark Lane. Connor first pointed his fingers towards the officers like he was holding a pistol. He then resisted the arrested and officers were forced to use a taser to subdue him. Connor was wanted for charges of first degree burglary, domestic assault and endangering the welfare of a child.
