Man abducted from his home by masked men

Columbia Police are investigating a home invasion that turned into an abuduction and robbery early Saturday morning.
Officers were calleld to the 1100 block of Sunset Lane around 4:30 a.m, where they found an injured 31-year-old man in the yard. The man had been abducted from his home in the 200 block of Apple Tree Court.
The man said three to five masked black men armed with handguns forced their way in his apartment. A 22-year-old female and a 13-year-old male were also inside the apartment.
The suspects demanded money and then forced the man in the trunk of the female's vehicle before they took off. The male victim was able to escape from the trunk near Broadway and West Boulevard. One of the suspects fired one shot at the victim, but he was not injured.
Some of the suspects had stayed back at the apartment with the woman and teenager, but when officers arrived the suspects had already ran off. The teen victim had also left the apartment, and was later found nearby.
The woman and teen boy were not injured in the invasion, but the woman's vehicle is still missing.
The investigation is still ongoing.
