A Boone County man was arrested Sunday night after swinging a machete at people.
At about 9 p.m. Sunday, deputies went to the 1600-block of W. Old Plank Road for a disturbance.
When they got there, people at the home told authorities 34-year-old Dylan Lee Jones was swinging a machete in a threatening manner.
However, Jones was no longer at the residence.
No one was hurt during the disturbance, but several victims reported feeling threatened by the suspect's actions.
In addition to swinging a machete and making verbal threats, Jones also allegedly pushed a family member to the ground.
A K-9 unit helped deputies find the man hiding in a wooded area behind the home.
He was arrested about an hour after the incident for two-counts of Unlawful Use of a Weapon, two-counts of 2nd degree assault and one-count of dommestic assault.
Jone was taken to the Boone County Jail with a bond of $19,000.
