Luetkemeyer moves on to general

Blaine Luetkemeyer has won the Republican primary in his bid for a fourth term.

U.S. Rep. Blaine Luetkemeyer has emerged from a four-candidate Republican primary, advancing to the general election in his bid for a fourth term.

The 62-year-old from Miller County topped Leonard Steinman, John Morris and Joe Frost in Tuesday's primary. Luetkemeyer represented District 9 in his first four years in Washington before redistricting after the 2010 Census reduced the state's congressional delegation by one.
