Lingering low pressure

The area of low pressure that brought severe weather to Mid-Missouri on Sunday and Monday will now bring cooler temperatures and more rain. Temperatures were in the 40s and 50s Tuesday morning with overcast skies. Isolated showers and drizzle may be possible during the morning hours as rain crosses the Missouri and Kansas border.

A better opportunity for rain showers exists during the afternoon hours. A few thunderstorms may be possible, but severe weather will not be an issue. Temperatures will be stuck in the mid-upper 50s with overnight lows falling below normal in the lower 40s.
