A New York City defense attorney will represent the parents of a missing Kansas City baby. Joe Tacopina said Monday that he had been hired to represent Jeremy Irwin and Deborah Bradley. A June 5 New York Post article cited prosecutors in New York City saying they hate Tacopina and that he will represent anyone, including Joran Van der Sloot, the Dutch man suspected in the 2005 disappearance of Natalee Holloway in Aruba. Tacopina said the parents of Lisa Irwin have nothing to hide and said the Kansas City police are doing their job. Monday morning, Bradley told NBC's "Today" show that she believes she will be arrested in her daughter's disappearance. She told Fox in a separate interview that she had been drinking and was drunk enough she may have blacked out. She said she did nothing to harm her daughter, though.
