State Senator Mike Kehoe announced his intention to run for reelection over breakfast Wednesday morning in Jefferson City.
He made the announcement in front of a group of supporters at his final Flapjack Tour event of 2013 that featured pancakes, sausage, coffee, and an opportunity for informal conversation with residents from his seven county District.
Kehoe said there is more work to be done in the fight for solutions to create good family-supporting jobs, protect mid-Missouri values, and ensure vital government services are delivered effectively and efficiently.
â??I continue to be humbled by the encouragement I have received from friends, family and citizens of the 6th Senate District to continue fighting for good jobs, a stable state government workforce, and other substantive issues that matter the most to Missourians, not just today, but in the years to come,â?? he said.
Kehoe held 11 flapjack events during October throughout the District. Since the introduction of the Flapjack Tour, there have been more than 60 events over the last three years. The 2013 tour included stops in the following 6th Senate District communities: Jefferson City, Hermann, Meta, Eldon, Iberia, California, Versailles, Owensville, Vienna, and Linn.
