Two people were sent to the hospital after a rollover accident early Sunday in Jefferson City.
Around 1:53 a.m. a Jefferson City Police officer noticed a white Chevrolet Blazer rolled over near the intersection of Bald Hill Road and Seven Hills Road.
The two occupants were sitting on the edge of the roadway.
Police determined that 60-year-old Catherine Bruemmer was driving the vehicle, ran off the roadway and overturned after hitting an embankment.
Bruemmer had several serious cuts on her lower legs, most likely from when her son removed her from the car, and was taken by ambulance to University Hospital.
Her son, 29-year-old Eric Bruemmer, was taken by ambulance to Capital Region Medical Center with minor injuries.
Catherine told police she was not wearing a seatbelt. Eric said he was.
