Jefferson City residents responsible for tree limb removal
Wed, 09 Jul 2014 20:34:19 GMT —
In Jefferson City, residents will have to take tree limbs to the yard waste drop off site at 2417 Southridge Drive.
There is no charge for residents to drop off limbs, but there will be a charge for non-residents and businesses.
Jefferson City has no plans for a special pick up. Residents will be responsible for the disposal of yard waste.
The city does ask to be notifed if a tree on a right of way has been damaged.
Columbia residents with fallen tree limbs can put them with their trash, with some limitations. Twigs and branches too small to bundle can be placed in bags, box or disposal containers. Larger limbs need to be bundled. They cannot be longer than four feet long, two feet in diameter. Bundles cannot weigh more than 50 pounds.
