Jefferson City man goes missing

The Cole County Sheriff issued an endangered silver advisory for Jesse Lee Lipson Monday.

Update: The Cole County Sheriff's Office has cancelled the Silver Advisory for Jesse Lee Lipson.

Lipson was found safe in St. Louis.

The Cole County Sheriff's Department say a Jefferson City resident suffering from Alzheimer's and dementia went missing on Monday.

Jesse Lee Lipson, 65, was last seen walking away from his residence at 2307 Schott Road around 11 a.m. Police say he often takes walks in this area but did not return this time. They say he may be walking toward St. Louis along U.S. 50.

Lipson is a black male around 6'1" tall, weighing 185 pounds. He has gray/black hair and brown eyes and was last seen wearing a baseball hat, green coat, black jeans and white shoes. Anyone with information about him is urged to call their local law enforcement agency or the Cole County Sheriff at (573) 634-9160.
