Investigative committee schedules fourth meeting at JCPD
JEFFERSON CITY —
The committee investigating allegations against Governor Eric Greitens has scheduled another meeting.
The investigatory committee has scheduled to convene at the Jefferson City Police Department Wednesday at 8 a.m. It marks the fourth time the committee will meet at the department headquarters.
The committee has been placed on a gag order and cannot speak about the investigation.
Committee members and chair Jay Barnes did not answer questions Monday as to whether future hearings would be held at the police department, if they would be open to the public and which witnesses would be testifying.
In February, a St. Louis grand jury indicted Greitens on a felony invasion of privacy charge. He was accused of taking a compromising photo of a woman with whom he was having an affair without her permission in 2015.
Greitens has denied any criminal wrongdoing.
