Independent living facility releases statement concerning missing endangered man

The company which owned the facility from which a Fulton man escaped released a statement Thursday.

"All of us at Second Chance Homes are very concerned regarding the whereabouts of Mr. DeBrodie. We are working closely with the Fulton Police and other agencies and they have requested that we do not issue additional statements or interviews while this investigation is ongoing."

Carl DeBrodie was reported missing Monday. He was described as 5 feet 3 inches tall and weighs 160 pounds. He was last seen wearing a white polo style shirt, leather jacket and white New Balance shoes.

His parents told KRCG 13 their son requires 24-hour care and although he is 31-years-old, he has the mentality of a 7-year-old.

Police said Wednesday multiple law enforcement agencies and several volunteers were involved in various searches.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Carl DeBrodie has been asked to call Fulton police at 573-592-3100.
