Investigators have not ruled out foul play in the death of 32-year-old Cody Thirlwall, whose remains were found by a hunter in Moniteau County on Aug. 9.

Human remains found by a hunter in rural Moniteau County are those of a Jefferson City man, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

According to Sergeant Kevin Hunter, the remains were found on Aug. 9 by a hunter near Enon. Dental records show the body is that of 32-year-old Cody Odean Thirlwall.

No cause of death has been determined, and Hunter says foul play has not been ruled out.
