I can tell you this event is a future Mid-Missouri Adventures with Milo blog in the making.
For the next two Sundays, there is a dog swim in Jefferson City. The Hot Dippity Dog event is part of the Bark-B-Que.
This Sunday, August 7 it TMs at Ellis-Porter Riverside Pool, and next Sunday, August 14 it TMs at Memorial Park Family Aquatic Center. Both events go from 6-7 p.m. Cost is $3 per dog.
According to the City of Jefferson TMs website, each dog gets a little doggie bag full of treats and obviously a lot of fun :)
On Sunday, August 14, you can also attend the Bark-B-Que. It runs from 3-6 p.m.
There will be BBQ hot dog meals ($3/person), animals available for adoption, free samples, horse rides, agility demonstrations, raffles| and my favorite, nail clipping and micro-chipping for the first 100 pets! You TMre also asked to bring any pet items you no longer need. They TMll be donated to the Trash to Treasure program. I know we have some extra products and items we don TMt need, so make sure to bring yours, too!
As long as nothing huge comes up, Milo and I will be there ready to enjoy all the fun activities and take a dip in the pool. It could be quite the site to see Milo in the water. He doesn't have a history of enjoying it.
Will we see you there? If so, make sure to stop us and say hi!
