      Homemade bomb found in Pulaski County

      Pulaski County deputies found a homemade bomb at a home on Shawnee Road in the southwest part of the county.

      Three people were arrested after Pulaski County deputies found a homemade bomb.

      Deputies made the discovery during their search for fugitive, Vernon Dale Parker Jr., Saturday at a residence just south of Laquey.

      Investigators had information about Parker that led them to an address on Shawnee Road in the southwest part of Pulaski County.

      Fort Leonard Woodâ??s Explosive Ordinance Disposal Unit was dispatched when deputies found the explosive device.

      Technicians took the device to a secured site and detonated what they confirmed to be a homemade bomb.

      Three people were arrested at the residence.

      Pulaski County Sheriff Ron Long said he expects additional arrests in the near future.

      A stolen firearm was also found.

      Vernon D. Parker is still on the run.

      More information about Parker and his arrest warrants is expected to be released in the coming days.
