Highway patrol reminds drivers to stay safe

Many people will be hitting the roads today to get to their holiday destination, but mid-Missouri law enforcement wants you to know they will be out enforcing traffic laws.The Missouri Highway Patrol will participate in operation C.A.R.E Combined Accident Reduction Effort- over the holiday weekend.A higher number than usual of officers will be assigned to Missouri's roadways to enforce laws, especially related to drunk driving, speeding, and seat belt use.
