Heart of Missouri Red Cross receives $25,000 donation
Red Cross volunteers are available every day of the year and at all hours to provide emergency food, clothing and shelter at no cost to those who need it in 21 mid-Missouri counties.
Mon, 22 Apr 2013 21:23:30 GMT — The American Red Cross Heart of Missouri Chapter, which does not receive any government funding, has received $25,000 from State Farm to help the organization provide disaster relief and other local services."Because responding to disasters and meeting the immediate emergency needs of those impacted by catastrophic events are major components of the services provided by the American Red Cross Heart of Missouri Chapter, this gift will make a difficult situation much better," executive director Dave Griffith said.Red Cross volunteers are available every day of the year and at all hours to provide emergency food, clothing and shelter at no cost to those who need it in 21 mid-Missouri counties.
