It took a Cole County jury one hour and ten minutes to find 21- year old Khiry summers guilt on all three counts.
He will be senteced later for the convictions on charges of 2nd degree murder, 1st degree robbery, and armed criminal action.
Summers was the last of three men accused in in April 2012 murder of Keith Mosely of Columbia. Summers refused a plea deal and took the stand in his own defense Tuesday. Summers testified that he had nothing to do with the murder and robbery at Jefferson City's Buena Vista Apartments. Police said the murder happened during a drug deal gone bad. Summers was not the trigger man, but admitted he fired 3 bullets into the floor at the crime scene..
Tracy Session, 25, has already pleaded guilty to firing the fatal shot. He will spend 20 years in prison. Last month the third suspect, Brandon Chase, was found guilty of the crime.Chase is scheduled to be sentenced later this month.
