Mid-Missouri is finally getting a warm-up. Despite a cold start on Friday in the 20s and 30s, pleasant weather will arrive by the afternoon. Skies will remain clear through the morning hours as a warm front moves towards the Mississippi River. Under sunny skies and southerly winds, high temperatures will be more than 10 degrees above normal in the lower 60s. Clouds will gradually increase during the late afternoon and early evening hours.
Look for cloudy skies Friday night and a slight chance of some spotty drizzle. Overnight lows will be modest, yet cold in the mid 30s. As a cold front moves to the south, scattered rain will be possible throughout the day on Saturday. There is a chance of snow mixing in at times. No accumulations are expected.
