Fulton woman injured in Columbia crash

A woman was injured in a crash on Highway 63 Friday night.

A Fulton woman is recovering from injuries sustained in a crash on Highway 63 Friday night.

41-year-old Gretchen Pani was driving southbound on Highway 63 near Prathersville Road when she lost control of her vehicle, veered toward the left side of the roadway, overcorrected to the right and then overcorrected to the left again.

Her vehicle overturned several times and came to a rest in the northbound lanes of 63.

Pani was taken to University Hospital by ambulance for a mild concussion and a broken hand.

She was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.

Police do not believe speeding or drugs/alcohol were a factor in the crash.
