Tue, 31 Dec 2013 14:57:24 GMT — A Callaway County woman is behind bars after police said she shot at her son. On Tuesday at about 1 a.m. Fulton Police officers were called to the area of Essex Dr. and Canterbury Dr. for shots fired. When they got there, officers found out Laura Perkins had shot at her son several times during a domestic disturbance. No one was shot during the incident but one of the rounds that Perkins had shot hit a window of a home in the area. Perkins was found near the scene and arrested for first-degree domestic assault, armed criminal action, unlawful use of a weapon, second-degree property damage, possession of less than 35g of marijuana, unlawful use of drug paraphernalia and 2 counts of possession of a controlled substance. Perkins is being held in the Callaway County Jail with a $50,000 bond.
