Fulton man threatens to blow up post office, gets arrested

Danny Estes, 40, of Fulton, was taken into custody after he threatened to blow up the Fulton Post Office.

A Fulton man was taken into custody Thursday after he threatened to blow up the Fulton Post Office if he didn't get a check in the mail that he was expecting.

According to the Fulton Police Department, Danny Estes, 40, was located in the 500 block of East 8th street and taken into custody on suspicion of making a terrorist threat.

The Callaway County Sheriff's Department assisted in the investigation, and took Estes into custody for Failure to Register as a Sex Offender (Victim under 14 years of age) and for being a sex offender within 500 feet of a school.

Bond on all the charges is $6,500.
